"I recently had the pleasure of visiting Damarasha, a coffee shop that has quickly become my new favorite spot to relax and get some work done. As soon as I walked in, I was struck by the cozy and inviting atmosphere, complete with comfortable seating areas and plenty of natural light. The decor is modern and sleek, with a touch of industrial chic that adds to the overall ambiance. But what really sets Damarasha apart is its excellent food and drink offerings. I ordered the Susu Regal and Sambal Matah Katsu, and I was blown away by the flavors and presentation. The Susu Regal was rich and smooth, with just the right amount of sweetness, while the Sambal Matah Katsu was spicy and savory, with a perfect balance of flavors. And the best part? The prices are extremely reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality and quantity of food you receive. Damarasha also a great place to get some work done or meet with friends. The seating areas are comfortable and spacious, with plenty of outlets and fast Wi-Fi to keep you connected. And if you're looking for a more private space, there are also meeting rooms and co-working areas available. What I didn't know until I visited was that Damarasha also has a hotel on site, which is perfect for travelers or those looking for a staycation. And with the coffee shop on site, you'll never have to leave the premises to get a great meal or cup of coffee. Overall, I highly recommend Damarasha to anyone looking for a great coffee shop or place to stay. The combination of excellent food and drink, comfortable seating areas, and affordable prices makes it an excellent value. And with its convenient location and on-site hotel, it's the perfect spot for both locals and travelers. "An amazing new coffe + food place with co-working character, AC room, garden, good vibe and great coffee. Having a calm, relaxing atmosphere, a rice paddy in front of it."

"It has a calm, minimalist industrial design with plenty of sunlight. It's quiet enough for working and reading. It has various space, from outdoor table to indoor rooms all available. Staff were friendly and polite, they prepared the orders very quickly and it tastes good . Prices are very reasonable."

"A hidden gem coffee shop (at least for me!) for WFC in Jogja. The place has a clean modern nature vibe with lots of greenery and artsy paintings. Spacious seating, comfy tables, and cool indoor AC. Peaceful atmosphere, great for working. Another big plus: wide parking space, fits many cars, and there's no tukang parkir. I tried the Alpenliebe coffee and katsu curry. Both were good, and priced under 30k each. Only downside: a few flies inside the indoor area, and one even fell into my drink (thankfully near the end). But overall I was still very impressed. If it were closer to my home, it would easily be at the top of my go-to spots for WFC. Would happily return when I’m in the area!"

"My go-to place for nugas & skripsi. The tables and chairs are very comfy, and the ambience calms my nerve in the midst of chaos. There's outdoor and indoor. Foods and drinks are nice & affordable for students (well, a bit middle price, but still standard). The staffs are really friendly too. Also, FREE MINERAL WATER. Keep it up"

"(TL;DR below) This cafe is easily the most comfortable spot in Paingan. The first floor features two cozy indoor spaces and a spacious outdoor area, while the second floor offers another outdoor section along with (likely) four rentable indoor rooms, perfect for groups needing privacy. Upon entering, you’re greeted by a Javanese-style pavilion, surrounded by lush greenery and natural decor that exudes a peaceful, relaxing vibe. Inside, the first indoor area on the left is where customers can place orders and find a few tables for working. Moving through a charming garden that separates the buildings, you’ll reach the main indoor workspace. This section houses six tables, each accommodating four people, offering a quiet and focused environment. The decor inside, featuring thoughtful art installations on the walls, adds to the calming ambiance. Gentle, ambient music fills the space—no live performances—making it ideal for those seeking a serene, distraction-free setting for work or relaxation. Now the menu selection, I'd say it's pretty limited but good enough. Recently founded, the taste and quality of the food and beverages are astonishing, even very competitive for the price. I like every food here except the cookies (not my taste). I recommend the Mentai Chicken, American Platter, and Katsu Sambal Matah for the meals, I have yet to try more menus, but I'll do it soon. For the beverages, besides the coffee selection, they also provide milk and tea-based drinks. Presentations of the foods are simple but creative. ((Subjective to my taste, not a heavy coffee drinker)) They have two signature coffees: Magniola and Alpenliebe, both have a strong mixture of ingredients that I could not even describe, it's very unique. Recommendation of each type: Espresso, I like the Con Hielo; Macchiato; Milk-based, I like them all; Tea, honestly they are all good. We should not forget: The toilets. They have two toilets on the ground floor beside the indoor working area (across the cashier building). They are clean and, most of the time provide tissue. Let's talk about the service, not making bias assumptions, but all servers are very nice and friendly! I love the way they interact with new customers and regular customers. During the menu selection, they could elaborate the menu to savor your preference. They are nice to talk to and very chill. LOCATION: It is close from Maguwoharjo Stadion, but is relatively far from the city. TLDR: one of the best cafes, they are on their own level here. The price is the student-friendly, comforting environment, and great facilities. Wifi is relatively fast for me who always has to stay connected during my tasks. You should absolutely try this place, do not forget to buy their menus! I wish the best for this cafe, I'll always rely on this cafe. Below are some of the pictures from my visits.
